noise i dont understand

Just got back from a 15 mi trip and run it hard the last 5 mi .When I got home the fan was running .And there is a funny noise coming from the motor A hissing sound .. turn the key off and the fan keeps running untill it cools off . Have not heard the hissing sound before. 2002 klr 650 2400 mi on it . changed out the doohickey about 300mi ago .All the help is appreciated....

Yah, dat's right. Just open the fuel cap to see if this quenches the pressure differential. MarkB

Oh yeah, I didn't trim mine either, partly because I have Progressive fork springs (although I don't know if that makes a difference in bottoming potential) and partly because I plan to install a UFO low fender as soon as they become available again.
