looking for klr riders in louisiana
Hi,
I will ride my KLR650 from San Francisco to New Orleans where I have
to sell it. If any fellow riders can advise me on cool things on the
way (10 days time) and how to sell the bike in 2 days! I would
appreciate the input.
thanks, Andi

Reply ----------- Sell the bike in 2 days after arrival.... Any presale efforts underway in local papers? In order to cultivate buyers outside of the list, I would think that some marketing must be initiated locally. This is obvious, of course, but how about seeding the local classified (on-line and print) so that the additonal advertisments begin to run just before you leave. If you have a cellular phone and a non ISP spec e-mail ID listed in the ads reply to fields you could probably work out a potential sale as you ride to New Orleans. And then of course, there is Ebay and other auction sites. Just set your reserve and Buy Now pricing and post w/ a disclaimer that you reserve the right to terminate early as the item is being offered locally.
