I'm looking at getting a set of these, as it seems the most economical solution for my saddlebag needs. I already have a tank bag, tank panniers, and the JCW trunk. It seems a set of soft saddlebags will round out my luggage nicely, and these Dirt Bags come with mount and shielding for an attractive price. Anybody out there currently use these? Love them? Hate them? Would you buy them again, or go with hard luggage instead? Are there any alternatives I have overlooked in the under $250 range? For the price you might not be able to beat the dirt bagz----In fact I have seen them mounted and I want a set----------however not for my KLR, as they are too small for most KLR riding, adventure touring etc.-----but I am going to put a set on my Suzuki DRZ400s---the size is just right for that bike. There are no saddlebags with steel frames prices this cheap. They are a little smaller but they are well made and mount securely to the included steel frame which bolts to your bikes frame. Clips on and off the steel frame very easily. I think for the price they are a bargain and have always wondered why no one on this list has tried them out yet. I do have them in stock. You can use the exploded parts diagrams to find it. Go to the Kawasaki site, select the KLR 650, under "Vehicle Information" select "View Parts Diagrams" The horn is under Chassis Electrical Equipment" and the part it is attached to is under "Frame Fittings". My guess is the Kawasaki designers strategy was to put such stunning visual impact into the KLR that an audible horn was considered unnecessary. ..........................davep A17
