My A15 is new to me but has 4800 miles on it. The oil is clean. Now
that the weather is cooler I find that the clutch plates stick after
the bike sits and gets cold. After kicking it in gear the first time
it is OK.
Is there anything that needs to be done or is this just the nature of
the bike?

Most all wet clutch motorcycles will do this to one degree or another. It
helps sometimes if you put the bike in gear before you start your engine
with the clutch pulled in. Or before you start the engine, you can put the
bike in gear with the clutch pulled in, rock the bike back and forth to
break free the clutch plates.

That is normal for a lot of bikes. Here is all you have to do. Start the bike in neutral(its easier on the starter and Batt). Warm it up a bit. When you are ready to go, pull in the clutch lever and give the engine a couple of quick blips on the throttle. This should break the clutch plates free. Then shift into first gear should be much easier. Jim> the bike?
