tire seating problem resolved

Post by ridinghome@aol.com » Sat Sep 06, 2003 6:47 pm

Thanks to all the folks who offered recomendations and advise. The rear Gripster poped into place after a bead cleaning and lots of lube at 50 lbs. The front wouldn't seat at 70 lbs, so in addition to cleaning the bead and lubing the snot out of it I turned it on the rim 90 degress. Still no good. So today I sat it in the Texas sun for an hour and got the tire good and hot, relubed it, and it poped at 50 lbs. Thanks again for the support.
