You haven't found that it's TOO slippery ? Tires haven't slipped on the rims ? Bogdan> Armor-All makes a pretty good bead lube. I've also been using it on the > tubes in place of talc. Abrasion wear seems to be greatly reduced. > > RM >

The very best place to use Armor-all is on the seat. Makes the engine feel
incredibly powerful and the brakes on par with the best. One of the cheapest
mods so far.

Judicious application of Armor-all to a sportbike seat can assist with leathers that stick to the seat and prevent hanging-off smoothly. No kidding. klr tire mounting issue
If you ever go into an auto and truck tire center you will generally see them using a product designed specifically for mounting tires. The one I worked at and most of the rest in town that I knew of used "Ruglide". It is like the old saying: "use the correct tool for the job". We slathered the stuff all over the place when mounting tubeless tires. If you have ever mounted a tubeless tire for the front of a cement truck on an aluminum rim with the owner looking on you want all the help you can get. I bought a gallon back in 1968 and haven't used it up yet. Be carful of the type of lube you use on your tires. If you get some
on the tread you may end up on the ground when your tire gives out in
a turn. especially with armour all type stuff

any colorado folk that would be down for a monday/tuesday ride?
I am trying to see if anyone in the area might be interested in some
riding, I have breached the 1000mile mark on this klr and have been
getting the itch to really hit some mountain roads now that all the
rpm restrictions are off. For the most part I ride alone but I
thought with a fellow rider it would be safer to hit some really
rough deaper mountain off roads and such.
I am in denver but would be up for the hike to anywhere with in 80
miles to catch up with someone (well, 80mile west, south or north,
no way I am heading 80 miles east
)
Anyhow if anyone or more then one is interested I have this coming
monday and tuesday off (yeah I know its a week day) so drop an e-
mail.
