Why try to compare an apple to an orange. Both manufacturer use to say that these bikes are made for the same purpose. Well I dont think they are equal at all. One is more heavy, powerfull, technologic and expansive. I think that we should compare the f650 to the KLR instead (with the final price argument at the end only). Then it would be fair. It is always nice to realise that you went at the same place as somebody that has spend almost twice the money .. I spoke with someone once in NewFoundland who toll me that he chose a f650 because of the quality of it's made. Well I met him later on the ferry when at the end of my trip. As he crash, his fork was bent and the bike ship home in a box.
