on the corbin saddle i just bought used

Post by Dan Petersen » Tue Jul 08, 2003 5:18 pm

I just bought a Flat Corbin saddle from one of our list members. It was a guy who had just sold his bike and had the saddle left. I snatched it right up, sent him the check and waited for it to arrive. It got to me yesterday. I opened up the box and took out a "dished" Corbin saddle. The guy hasn't returned my email about it yet and I'm not holding my breath. Now why didn't he just say in his add that it was a dished saddle and not advertise it as flat. -- It's not going to kill me or anything and I guess I can put this saddle on when my (shorter) wife wants to ride the bike. It's just aggrevating to me that someone would misrepresent something as straight forward as this. Someone would still have bought the dished saddle, just not me. Because he's a dick. -- It's not going to kill me or anything and I guess I can put

Put it up for sale. You might get even money or better, or find someone who wants to trade. Devon -- "It's a troublesome world, all the people who are in it, are troubled with troubles almost every minute" Dr. Seuss

I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. I know that I'm frequently away from my email from days at time, so it's entirely possible that he's not read his email yet. Give him another 24 hours, perhaps, before you get (rightfully) really pissed. Z DC A5X A12X

Name the thief. Stop payment on the check. Heck, even keep the seat after stop payment. I havn't bought anything used online because I'd drive halfway across the country to "explain" my disatisfaction with being lied to and taken of my money. how long to use choke?

Post by dooden » Wed Jul 09, 2003 5:56 am

How long running with the choke ? Till the motor runs Have you backed your pilot circuit screw out ? This is one of them you have to drill out a cap and remove it to adjust, the factory sets these bikes way to lean, I bet around 45 Mph your bike surges too right ? Look back a few messages we just covered the how to's. Dooden A15 Green Ape --- In DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com, "Johan Brunius" wrote:
