barsnake
Anybody ever taken a barsnake out of a stock handlebar? If so, if you can
offer any tips it would be appreciated.
I haven't found it to work so I am going to take it out (I hope)
TIA,

I once had a pesky viper take up residence in my handlebars. I found
compressed air removed it quite well. Not sure that will work with your
particular species though.
good luck!

Bill, I haven't actually done this, haven't even seen a barsnake "in person," but here are a couple shots in the dark. Maybe you could: Push it through from the throttle grip side with a coat hanger, or something like that? Securely tape a screw to the head of a screwdriver, screw the screw into the barsnake, and then just pull it back? Not at all, it reduces handlebar vibrations: http://www.barsnake.com/home.html Mark KLR650 Motorcycle Pages: http://klr6500.tripod.com/ HomePage: http://home.adelphia.net/~msaint/index.html My Adelphia Email can be "iffy." I actually went down to a dealer this weekend to look and see if they
had one in stocker yet. No 650's, but a 250. It's a dark, burnt
looking Red/almost a Maroon. I thought it looked pretty good in
person, more sporty then the green....
