Yuck definitely looks like a magenta/pink! That is a foul looking color scheme. I wonder if they did that to curtail sales in anticipation of phasing out the mighty KLR? (kidding, but ya never know) Rob D A15 wrote:

Well if it ain't pink, a couple years in the sun will make it that way! It would be fun, however, to mix it with some of the green parts from the '00-'03's, dress like Santa and go riding on Christmas eve. Mark

Damn, What's KHI trying to do, kill off KLR sales? A magenta KLR should do it. The 250 gets the same treatment. BTW If you use the non-flash site the images will open up larger. Karl beautiful green A14 on 6/9/03 7:13 PM, Walt at a14@... wrote:

The Harley guys that I rode with from LA to DC thought I was nuts when I rode the A14 across the country, imagine what they will say if I show up next year on a PINK KLR.. Bet the Grandchildren will like it, even if no one else does. Allan

It will certainly wake you up in the morning or sober you up at night. It reminds me of one of the color schemes on the 72 Suzuki GT750, known as the Water Buffalo. I hated it at the time but when I now have the rare occasion of eyeballing one, I think it's kinda funky. Nothing will equal the 95 Ken and Barbie. I believe that was the ugliest paint job in the history of motor cycles. Some of the bikes I saw in Eastern Europe in the commie years were not inspired aesthetically - or in any other way. But the 95 klr outdid even them. Bogdan

It's always going to be hard to sell bikes in lipstick shades. How many of those Speed Triples did triumph ever sell in metallic fuchsia?
