I am going to be picking up my new 650 KLR in a few weeks. I
recently just bought a 03 ZRX 1200 also. Does anyone have any
thoughts as to the best saddle bags I can use on both of these?
TourMasters seems to have a great reputation and I am leaning this
way. Others say the Kawi bags are losing quality and wont hold up
very well.
Thoughts?

saddle bags -kaw versus tourmaster
I own a set of Tourmaster Cortec bags and love them. Very durable and
useful. The only problem I had was running about 90mph in the rain in
the GA mountains on my Suzuki Bandit 1200S the rain covers blew off
and were lost. Luckily Tourmaster sells just the rain covers for
about $20.00 so I replaced them and my wife sewed some velcro loops
to the new rain covers to prevent it from happening again. I have
used several bifferent brands of soft bags and concider the
Tourmasters to be the best. Dont forget there is also a tail bag
availible that attaches to the top of the saddle bags.

So if I watch the - say - the Friday night fights on ESPN, I'll run into long lost friends ? Cool !! That'll be a good tool to convince my wife that we shouldn't' switch to that sit - com.
