My buddy just recently punched a hole and cracked his engine case in his 01 KLR650. I bought it for a parts bike. I have most parts available. If you are interested in anything let me know. Also tell me what you are willing to pay for the part. If you have no idea what they are worth you can go to www.kawasaki.com for parts diagrams and part numbers. You can then take the part numbers and go to www.bikebandit.com and get prices for new parts. That should put you in the ballpark for what used parts are worth.

I had a similair situation a number of years ago with a 1990 KLR650. Picked it up as a parts bike and only used the mag rotor. The local salvage yards would ask 60% of the price for a new part. I figured I undercut them and sold off parts for 30% of new. I bought the wrecked bike for $500 and grossed $1600 when I finally sold off the skeliton frome. So I netted $1100. I'd be interesed in the front signal lights. I believe they're asking 27.50 new for the assembly, (one side), if so 30% would be $8.5 each. I'll offer $20 for the pair of front signal lights. That would be the addembly, from the fairing out. What Say? I have a 2001 KLR650 that had a hole punched in the engine cases and I'm parting it out. I have sold some part off of it but have many left.

Parting out the whole bike, I assume? I'd be interested in both the front and rear wheels... Mark KLR650 Motorcycle Pages: http://klr6500.tripod.com/ HomePage: http://home.adelphia.net/~msaint/index.html My Adelphia Email can be "iffy." If you don't get a response, please try: KLR6500@...

What do you want for the radiator? Rear wheel with rotor and sprocket carrier? Radiator shrouds, and side covers? Devon tito_98901 wrote:

Just left the showroom last Wednesday with a new 03 KLR and I have a couple of questions. 1) Does anyone know of a group of southern Minnesota KLR riders? 2) Does the balancer lever weakness still a problem with the 03's? If so, who makes the best kit to DIY this fix?
