airbox/filter test
Hi Krokko, Met a guy a Hallet motor speedway, about 50 miles or so from Tulsa, OK. He was riding a beauitful show room condition RE-5 and said he has another one and knows a guy in the Tulsa area with about 5 more. Sorry to say I didn't get his name or address, but you might check and see if there are any lists like ours for KLR's. Sorry I can't give more info., but if I run into him at the track this summer, I'll see if I can't get you guys together. Later. Dave A12
Chris Krok wrote:Thanks everybody! Zach stepped up and is loaning me a spare airbox to
do the air filter flow test. It will probably take a month or two to
get everything set up, as I want to do it once and correctly. Instead
of using the digital manometer I used before, I might use some of the
transducers I have on the wind tunnel and read them on the PC, so I can
do both instantaneous and averaged data at a couple of points in the
airbox. I'll post the results as soon as possible.
