nklr - cleaning the group

Post by Stu » Wed Apr 09, 2003 1:03 pm

Can we change the title of this thread? It sounds like someone is wearing a french maid outfit (make that a freedom maid outfit) and waving a feather duster over us. I'm thinking "Cleansing the group" Or "Purging the group" or " Jihad to rid the group of the Great Non-Posters" Or simply "E-enema" Thanks CA Stu

Walt, To call the doohickey by another name? What would become of our legend? Jason -----Original Message----- From: Walt [mailto:a14@...] Sent: Wednesday, April 09, 2003 1:17 PM To: Stu Cc: DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [DSN_klr650] Re: NKLR - Cleaning the Group

Speaking of cleaning the group - Could we call the doohickey by it's proper name? Now we have a woman on the list who will go to your home to service your doohickey. That just doesn't sound moral but it would if it was just a LEVER,IDLER SHAFT. Walt A14 "War Horse" List sponsored by Dual Sport News at www.dualsportnews.com. Well, the "real" name must be in Japanese. Maybe doohickey is Japanese for "LEVER,IDLER SHAFT"? ;-) /Jim

Not really a bad day, its just that its gets a bit much listening to constant "jokes" about the French. The same "jokes" would not be tolerated about the Americans, Brits or anyother country/people. Most adult citizens of the EU know that we have the French to thank for our freedom. (Well, I guess the Germans curse the French) Without them we would probably have had a kaiser when WWI ended...and WWII would never have happened. So, no more funny "jokes" about the French or I will make funny "jokes" about the Americans! ;-) /Jim

Good morning,

The others looked at him > questioningly. "That was my pager, "he said, "I have a microchip under > the skin of my arm."
A few minutes later a phone rang. The Canadian fellow lifted his palm to his ear. When he finished he explained, "That was my mobile phone. I have a microchip in my hand." The American felt decidedly low tech, but not to be outdone he decided he had to do something just as impressive. He stepped out of the sauna and went to the bathroom. He returned with a piece of toilet paper hanging from his behind. The others raised their eyebrows and stared at him. The American finally said... "Well, will you look at that, I'm getting a fax."
