So are you saying that pipes that do not have that stamp but do have
an USDA/USFS approved spark arrestor insert installed are illegal? I
think not.

I have been working with the US distributor for over a year now with no
results. This is why I am taking this cause "to the streets" and get the
guys that have or want this pipe to let the Manufacturer know of their
concerns. The KLR slice of the Laser pie is very minimal. Laser is a very
large company that makes exhaust pipes for all sorts of cars, street bikes,
scooters, off road bikes, and dual sport bikes.
Let Laser hear from you. Write boldly and write often. sales@...

You're asking if the noise will bother YOU !?!? Quite a
humanitarian concern. What about the guy in the next motel room when
you pull out in the morning?
Exactly, that's why I push my bikes out away from the room as far away as practical before I lite the fire. A little courtesy goes a long way.
