fork spring bearings

Post by donrolandofurioso » Fri Mar 28, 2003 12:31 am

When I installed my Progressive Springs, I also installed bearings between the spacers and the fork caps. This modification allows the springs to wind up and unwind without resistance, reducing or eliminating spring bind and thus increasing the fork's ability to respond quickly and free of deflection. However, I could only find the right bearing in a large quantity package, which leaves me with more bearing sets than I can ever use up in my entire life. Therefore I sell them at my cost to anybody interested. Any takers?

How about giving us the part # for the bearings you used. For future reference in the DSN list archive of wisdom. In DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com, "donrolandofurioso" wrote:

Could you describe these bearings? Maybe I'm just slow this morning but I am having trouble picturing how this works. Bogdan
