One reply to ALL:
I have been able to obtain a seal (bought 2 just in
case of screw up). The retainer can not be found here
in Santiago, though the o-ring wouldn t be a problem.
The local mechanic doesn t believe we need a new
collar...yet. We haven t gotten down there and looked
yet. They do things a little different around these
parts. They won t even look until I deliver the seal
(about to do that momentarily).
Anyway, I have a 92 and also have Jakes retainer and
shims. Will definitely inspect ALL of these items on
disassembly.
Thanks all. I will post results as soon as I get them
in.
