greek klr tourer - inquiry

Post by John Hubbard (Home) » Sat Dec 07, 2002 9:10 pm

sorry to bug the list , but I met a guy who was on a long distance KLR tour in Tobermory Ontario (while I was on a short 5 dayer) , we took the ferry across Georgian Bay then rode the majority of the day together before splitting at Esponola Ontario. Great guy, he took a few pictures and we'd agreed we'd touch base, plus I'd like to get my hands on the pics if possible but have been unable to get in touch with him. He's from New York city area and his email is astoriagreek@... Any one know who or where he is by chance? Thanks for any help! My understanding is that it only receives the GPS signal when you push the button to get a "fix". It also uses a lot of power and requires the battery be charged every day. K. D. Bailey
