I got in touch with the guy I bought it from throuugh ebay and he says it is a Kawasaki and it fit fine on his 2000. My stock windshield is thick at the bottom and is beveled to fit holes on the cowl. I messed around with it some, but the mounting still seemed off. Anyone want a windshield? Mick

I have a Magellan 330, I and am very pleased with the detained maps that can be downloaded. I mounted it to the bolts that clamp the front fork for 2 reasons. I wanted it at the same level as the speedometer, and I wanted it not to vibrate. By mounting it to the fork brace there is no vibration separate from the cycle itself. The bracket was made from galvanized hardware from Home Depot. If you are interested, I will send you a photo of the bracket. Someone commented about inconsistent current and their GPS shutting down. I found that at certain speeds mine did that. It was due to vibration of the motorcycle. The mount has a plastic clip but it was not strong enough. I put a rubber band around the GPS and solved the problem. In wiring it to the cycles, the 2 free wires on the right side are not the best choice. They are switch activated. This means every time you turn the switch off the GPS shuts down and has to be turned on again and then it go looking for satellites again.
