oil and the klr - just a simple question
I always chaned the oil in the fall and then again in the spring to get rid
of any condensation that accumulated. Oil is cheap enough that it cant
hurt.

Subject: [DSN_klr650] Oil and the KLR - Just a simple question
Well folks got a simple question for ya'll.
Winter setting in and need to dump the oil, going to change it, but
wonder do you change oil again in the spring after it has sat all
winter ?
Thinking using the Shell Delvac since Wallyworld sells it fairly
cheap, just need to pickup a couple filters and ready to rumble.
Local shop wants in excess of $20 a gallon for KawChem stuff... thats
a bit too much for me.
Thanks in advance

I only use Wesson Canola, with a cup of metal shavings from my grinder to thicken it up, so it'll stick to the gears.

Only 20K on the engine, kick start model, rarely need second kick to
start, oil change 3K miles. Can deliver in bay area.
