But seriously, keep those cheapo tips coming, a penny saved is a penny earned after all. If'n anyone wants to borrow a rotor pusher and wrench, just ask, don''t 'spect I'll be needin' mine for a while. M'kay. Alohas, Larry [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Just used a socket that was the same size as the bushing on one side and a open end wrench that was larger as a spacer. Could have used a larger socket, but until that thrid arm grows out my chest, it was impossible to hold in place and turn the vise lever, so opted for the open end, that way could guide it in basically biting the wrench. Untested, but think it will work. Rotor holder (for the doohickey change) could be using a "crows foot" attachment on a socket wrench. I have a old wrench I plan on bending thought. Sorry no coffee yet, and just cant think of anything else. Dooden aka: Cheapskate

Aerostich has a very nice lever type bead breaker for about $60 in there catalogue. It is adjustable for different tire and rim sizes. Gino

My friend George and I tried jumping up and down on one at 2:00 PM in the Mexican desert a few months back. It was unbearably hot so we figured the tire would ooze right off the rim.. It didn't work. We ended up using the C-clamp. Of course, our energy level was dropping fast and George had forgotten the Tequila. Bob Hancock El Cajon
