Mike,
Your rad guard arrived safe and quick, and mounted nicely.Looks good;
thank you.
It will obviously hold up well if the bike goes down on it's left
side at a standstill, and yes, it might even save the tank in certain
situations.
Have you had any feedback on how it holds up in a slide down the
road? My concern is that it may peel back and slice off the radiator
cap/filler neck area of the rad guard. Any thoughts on this?

got the rad guard
I would *think* that if you fell that hard on the left side, you
would have lost the rad with or without the gaurd.

Your the 1st person that said it looks nice. It will
hold up in a slide.
I tested mine in Mexico, at about 35mph, I also had about 90 lbs of gear on,
And Dave tested his out when he fell over going up a steep hill, He slid
backwards about 10 feet. My shroud is pretty banged up from the flying
rocks, I no for sure my radiator would have been tore off with out the guard,
And i was 1&1/2 Days from the nearest town on a dirt road, Or donky path as
Dave called it........ I could no longer stand on my pegs to ride as i
screwed up my left knee, Talk about a sore ass,
Any way back to the brace, ITS MADE TO PROTECT, Look at the other small
braces.
