I finally got around to tightening up the steering head bearings on
my bike, while I was at it I loosened up all of the bolts that hold
the fork tubes in place and pushed the tubes down flush with top
clamp. I also tightened up my front axle bolt, thankfully it really
didn't need it. Anyway, the results are no more shake at high speeds-
much much much better. Cornering feels much more stable, my bike
always felt like the front end wanted to jump out from underneath me
when I was going around a corner, now it feels solid.
Thanks for the good advice once again!

fuel mixture
The end of the exhaust is rather sooty,I put it down to a dirty air
filter but cleaning it has made no difference. There is no smoke and
fuel mileage is good.Any thoughts?
