As a non riding friend once told me before a race...."Go for whatcha know, man." Remember that as clearly as if it were yesterday. It was my first supercross, & I crashed Big time, taking a chance on clearing a big tabletop, that wouldn't have actually gained me much, position wise. If clearing that jump that nobody else is trying (whatever your jump that nobody else is trying, ends up being) doesn't gain you a position or two, don't do it...save it for the end. I know that the motorcycle gods will do as they see fit but.....Finish, dammit! I searched the archives and it looks like I need an O ring and maybe a collar. However, I couldn't find any reference to getting the collar off.
