I'd love the smell of my smoky KLR on my back every morning after riding 2 miles from home (better than the coffee maker aroma) guess what my boss think : ) and can't wait the end of day to take a backroad "shortcut" back to home - YES I do dress bussiness casual riding a KLR &:) Greets Jafet A10 --- Robert Diaz wrote:

You know you're a cubicle monkey when you know what the term "prairie dogging" means (hearing something interesting and watching everyone pop their heads over their cubicle walls straining to hear and see). After seeing "Office Space", I was sick for a week. I could barely manage to get through the day. Then I got layed off, now everything is better. Now, where is my stapler? UnemployED

C> My neighbor owns an HD sporty and she hardly EVER rides. We don't C> get along ;-), so if I don't tell her, who will? More to the point, HA! My wife was telling me all the neighbors were wondering why I don't ride my bike more often (she was puzzled as I ride quite a bit esp on the weekends) Neighbors said "We never hear his bike - isn't it as loud as Bobs?" (Bob infrequently rides a Fat Boy) It was hot today but a nice ride to and from. Wish I had a less highway, more backroads commute so I could do it more often. jim

*That* explains why that BMW was in the parking lot today. There's someone at work that has a big BMW dual-sport, GS1100 or some such. I've seen it maybe three times in as many years. Well, it was in the parking lot again today, and until reading this thread it didn't even occur to me that that's why it was there. Other than that, and a Honda Shadow I haven't seen in a while, and a guy that just got a new FZ1 and rides once or twice a week, mine is usually the only bike in the parking lot. So if you look at it by percentages, the motorcycle turnout at my workplace increased dramatically for ride to work day ;). -Trevor
