If you want to buy a tool get a mity vac. About $30 from Harbor Freight. Makes it easy so you do it frequently. I have 5 bikes in the garage and you really should change the fluid every other year so it's a real plus for me. Used to do it the pump method. Put a tube on the nipple on the back caliper, drain to a jar, open rear master cylinder, pump the brake making sure not to let the resevoir get too low, pump, open nipple on rear, close, pump, open, close pump, etc. Whack the cylinder once in a while to jar loose any bubbles of air. Eventually you should be getting nice clean fluid out and the air bubbles should be all but gone. Fill master, pump a few times. Should work. But Mity Vac makes it a lot easier. Pump, open keep master filled, pump a little more, close. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Can't find the Mity Vac at Harbor Freight. Do you have an item number for it? I did find what I think is the same thing at Northern Tool & Equipment. http://www.northerntool.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=391590 &prmenbr=6970 Allan
