Dual Star makes a new version of their siderack for the KLR. The used one I bought from a friend is round tubular. New ones are square tube and appear to have a bigger frame and the bag mounts are not to a welded tab but on the main frame - better design for sure but I havn't heard of the older ones with the tabs breaking either. Both fit Tims Givi bags well. My 21 L Givis are very functional. Eclipse makes a tail pack I use on my bikes interchangeably. Its great for holding a day ride's worth of stuff. There are many makes of the same thing but the utility of any of them is great. The Colorado Passes will open early this year due to a lack of snow. I've seen Cottonwood pass closed in June before but probably not this year. Bruce Woodland Park CO A10
