Thanks for the input all, Still waiting to hear back from the WP folks on their offerings. I did look long & hard at getting the Progressive spring to put over the stock shock. Everybody that's done it seems to like the setup alot. If it were just me, I'd go that route. But I end up doing alot of two up offroad riding on the weekends. That spring being so strong must overpower the stock shock from time to time, causing that pogo effect. Being able to stand up and use legs as suspension isn't an option for me while two up, & I can't have Lori bouncing off the back. So...Christmas will come early this year. Have to mention that the DualStar folks actually recommended against the spring purchase for my application. That's pretty cool, doing the right thing instead of going for the quick sale. Side notes: Finally decalifornicated the KLR. Didn't see a need to do it until recently. A valve in the emission eating assembly started to stick, making KLR die with fuel starvation symptoms. Now everything's running fine & a neat little first aid kit lives where that black box used to be. Also finally got around to trying "Plexus" on the KLR windshield & wow! Good stuff. Windshield looks almost new again. -Scott A14 "thunderdog" Sorrento, Fl Checkout Dual Sport News at http://www.dualsportnews.com Be part of the Adventure! "decalifornicated" was progressive vs wp vs works
I live in Southern Oregeon, just over the California border. All the Kawis that the local dealer gets are California prepped bikes, because so many get sold to people comming up to avoid sales tax.
Where did you get the info to be "decalifornicated"?
Any web sites with instructions/pic?
Thanks,
Tom
