Mark,
I have over 5,000 miles on the Distanzia rear tire, and there is little
evidence of wear. I think this tire will wear well past the 7 - 8,000 mile
mark. I really like the handling on the road.

Adam,
I must respectfully disagree. After running the Gripster on the rear 100%
pavement for only 8500 miles I had to replace it. The Distanzia has over
5000 miles on it and shows almost no wear at this point. I hope to get at
least 10 to 12,000 miles from it.
Just my humble opinion,

I just renewed with Rider/GMAC for the 7th year.
State min and 150 Deductable for the A14 KLR650 was 191.
The '02 R1150GS with 250 DED was 361.
This is full coverage + under/non insured Motorists.
Also 59 years old with clean record in the last 3 years. Motorcycle
Safety School discount in there also. Think the discount for this
about pays for the school every 3 or 4 years.
I was quoted a lesser price by a couple others but not enuff to
change.
OH! BY the way. Best of luck to ya and thanks for all you've done
for the list Gene. Hate to see ya have to give up all your rides but
such is life. Know where you're at on this.
