klr650 for sale - new brunswick, canada

Hey quick question about a rear shock on an 84 KLR600. I have mine adjusted to as tight as it can go and its stil soft. I am not a big guy, so this doesn't seem right. I previously owned an 83 Honda XL250R and even thought the suspension was pretty much nonadjustable it worked better. Is this normal on KLR's, or should I invest in a different shock? Thanks

Hello Listers. I have a 1995 KLR650 for sale with 17,033 kms on it. It has been very well kept and maintained, enduro tires have less than 2,000 kms on them and virtually all of the manufacturer-recommended service has been performed over the last 3 months. History and Reason for Selling I purchased this bike in April of 1999 with the intention to keep it forever, and all required preventative maintenance has been performed as such. This bike is very reliable and has made frequent trips to Sussex, Moncton, Fundy National Park, Fredericton and Dipper Harbour. It is an excellent sport-touring/enduro bike, capable of cruising over 450kms between gas refills. Of all sport touring models, the KLR650 is best known for its large capacity gas tank and highway capability. I hate to part with a perfectly good bike, but I purchased a street bike last year and haven't had time to ride this one. Condition of Bike There are currently 17,033kms on the bike, which is very low for a liquid-cooled engine of this size. 80% of all riding was performed solo on the street or on dirt roads. The bike has been maintained very well and always stored clean. Virtually all of the manufacturer-recommended service has been performed over the winter. This bike is prepared for the 2002 riding season. The 60-40% street-dirt tires were replaced at 15,330kms and are still in excellent shape. FYI.
