Unfortunately, the factory tool kit was stolen the other day from my bike. I guess I'm not too surprised, since the unit is left pretty much out in the open with no means of looking it up. It's too bad that Kawasaki didn't spend the extra money and put it in a lockable container, like they did on their older models. I once had an old KZ650 that had a lockable flip up seat that held the tool kit and also provided easy access to the battery. But, I'm wondering if anyone out there has a spare they would be willing to sell or know of any aftermarket alternatives? Also does anyone have any clever ideas on making it more secure? Bryan- Thanks for the link and Dual-Star tool kit looks nice. But, it appears that it lacks the tools to remove a wheels. Just curious to know what you have found to use, other than the OEM tools. Mark

http://www.chapmanmfg.com has some nice tools. If you buy a phillips, slotted and hex bits as well as the rachet and drive adapter and add the few metric sockets the KLR needs you should be good to go.
