lowered kickstand

Post by siva@aol.com » Mon Feb 25, 2002 12:01 am

I have my bike lowered with the custom lowering links and am thinking about shortening my kickstand so the bike is a little more stable. Does anyone know much to take off there is any better options?

I've studied Rotella ELC, and it seems that it would be suitable for use in a KLR. It appears to be a variation of the organic acid technology that's used in GM's Dex-Cool. Even better, Dex-Cool is rumored to not protect the lead-tin solder used in older brass/copper cooling systems very well whereas Rotella ELC is supposed to be OK for these systems. Even better, the coolant is a 50/50 premix, which eliminates water quality as a user concern. RM
