That is a very good question. I must confess that I have been promising Rocky some pics of the KLX since last September. I will get some off to him as soon as I can get things together on this end. Rocky was very proud of the craftsmanship that came through on my bike, and I was very impressed with the entire transaction. I can not think of one negative item involved with doing business with Rocky. No matter how busy he is at any given moment, any time I have called, he has answered his own phone and taken the time to talk to me. This was before, during and after the sale. Outstanding way to do business in my humble opinion. Marshall

I know what the Corbin ones look like, I was hoping for a pic of the Bill Mayer saddle. Thanks though. Ryan

Am I missing something here? I was following this thread with some interest but the link above takes me to a site that displays a Corbin seat. I thought we were talking about the Bill Mayer Saddles site that didn't show a KLR installation. Sonny

Sonny, I just clicked on the link in your response and it took me straight to Bill Mayer Saddles home page. Sorry you had a problem with the link. www.billmayersaddles.com should take you there. Click on the upper left marked " photos" (I think) then go the bottom of the first photo page and click on "more pics" (or something like that) finally at the bottom of the second picture page, in the left column, you will see a picture that is very similar to the seat on my KLX. A solo seat with the slender flat passenger section virtually unchanged in size or shape. hope this helps, Marshall

To get a general idea of what the seat looks like on a KLR check out: http://www.day-long.com/klr650.htm This seat is from Day-Long Seats not Bill Mayer Saddles. John --- marshall wrote:

That wasn't the link I was talking about. I went to the BMS site originally and found no KLR with a seat installed after perusing (what I thought were) all of the pics. Another fella posted a link, in reply, which led to a pic of a KLR with a Corbin. That started the confusion. Thanks for trying to help though, Sonny

I've been waiting for someone to mention the Day-Long. In my opinion it's the 900-pound gorilla of touring comfort for the KLR. Yeah, it costs over $300, you have to send in a picture, and you'll probably have to wait 3-6 months for it to be built, but even with all that, it's still MORE than worth it. I only wish I had ordered it sooner. "Mokan"
