I checked this bike out on the www.kawasakicanada.com site and wondered why it is so much heavier (370lbs) than the regular KLR 650 (337lbs). To me the 650 C looks a lot better than the regular KLR 650 but is comes with a smaller tank, less travel and a lot more weight. Anybody know why it is so heavy?

Hi, and welcome to the community! It's a fantastic bike, you'll love it! You can also Email him at: fred@... if you have a specific parts or accessories question. I don't think he's ever NOT had something I wanted. You'd have to buy the base manual for a 1984 KLR600, and then the supplement for the year bike that you own; and then let the cross-referencing fun begin.
