What I am doing is getting a list of KLR rider in the Houston area. After I get it together I will put it out to everyone (members) that are on the list. Then you guys can write each other and set up rides. This is just a tool for members to find KLR rides in their area. We may set up large group rides later. There are no fees. I will need name, year and make, e-mail address, area of town, phone number. Please Houston riders only. The response to yesterday note was more the I could handle. If your looking for rider in your area try the same thing we are doing. "It works great" As my Friend Mike says "Keep the Rubber Side Down"

We have a group of 22 members here in the Houston area. We are always looking for more KLR riders. There are no fees. All I do is add you to the list and you can find riders in your area to get together with. We have had a few group rides set-up last year and hope to do a few this year also. E-mail for more info. Doug, Are any of your group planning on attending the rally in Moab, Ut the 1st of June? John Lyons and myself are riding from the New Orleans area. Haven't worked out details yet, that will come in late Feb. or early March. All are welcome, would like to see a good size group from "down south" . Sounds like you have the right idea, we might try something like that for the New Orleans, Baton Rouge area. Talk to you soon, Marshall in Slidell, La 95 KLXC3 "Blackhorse" (in honor of those who served)

> Someone on the list was making a steel one two, How is it going.
Mike, I will be starting work on a steel bash plate as soon as I get a chance. I'll post pics as soon as I get a prototype finished. Should be a week or two. Shouldn't be too heavy using 1/16" steel. Ryan
