klr 650 a1 fuel tank question

Post by dr_coady » Sat Dec 29, 2001 6:55 pm

hello i have searched the archives with not much sucess. i just bought a very used 87 klr 650. most of the breather/drain hoses are missing. the fuel tank on this bike has two hose barb attachments on the back end of it. i assume one is an overflow drain, and one is a breather. which one is which, if that is what they are and which one gets the hose going to the bottom of the bike. or do both? my friend has a 96 klr650 and he only has one hose "barb" on the tank. thanks in advance. if you could respond directly to dr_coady@... that would be great. dan c
