plastic polish

3M makes a plastic polish and plastic cleaner. I used it on my very faded blue '93 KLR and had great results. Practically like new. Of course like any rubbing compound great results come from the amount of muscle you put into it. The cleaner is courser than polish and removes oxidized plastic. The polish then puts a nice factory sheen on. It also works very well on clear plastic like your windscreen or helmet visor to remove clouding or light scratches.
