Once, I hopped off and walked away from my woods beater without deploying the side stand. Fortunately, it happened in my driveway and not in a mall parking lot. Mark B2 A2 A3

Dropped mine twice 2 yrs ago the first time in the dirt. Brand new bike. Don't need to worry about scratches anymore. Was sliding around a bit (Ah, yes! It's all coming back to me...), got overzealous, got a little more sideways, got panicky, and chopped the throttle.....highside....4 cracked ribs (heavy bike, you know). Dropped it the second time right after I picked it up, when the kickstand drilled a hole in the dirt.......

Ok, I played with the Garmin Vista GPS unit for about an hour last night and decided it wasn't what I wanted. So, back it went. Now I've just placed an order for the Garmin GPS V from Cycoactive. I have this vague recollection of telling myself that I wasn't going to spend more than $300 on a GPS unit. Man this is just like owning a boat. The next thing you know I'm gonna be spending $350 on heated underwear. Oh no, I'm a dual sport junkie. I gotta have some saddle bags, man. Come on..PLEASE. Ok, Ok, how 'bout just a tank bag. Really, that's all I want, then I'll be happy. And not some cheap one, only the best stuff... Sorry. Brad J. Morris <---So many hobbies (obsessions) , so little time (money). A16 Illinois
