You're right, the pics couln't be of the same jump. My guess is that the guy did it a couple of times, and the person that took these pics shot each from a different angle. I still don't think they're fakes... If they are, it definitely took some skill to doctor them, especially the second one. dan

Looks fake to me. The camera would have to be at a high shutter speed to freeze the bike (1/500th or 1/1000th) but the people and ground are blurry, like they were shot at 1/8th or 1/16th. It's not just depth-of-field, because nothing is in focus.

Well, I'm no photographer...but can't you, using a medium speed, get that same effect by following the subject witht the camera, then snapping the photo when the subject is perpendicular to the camera? But the bike isn't "frozen".. look how the spinning wheels are blurry. the photographer just did a good job of panning(moving the camera to follow the bike). That would also explain why the background is blurry. dan
