The KLR is featured in The Smart Money column in the January 2002
issue of the Motorcylist. The smart money column each month features
a good buy in the used motorcycle market.
"Essentially bulletproof, excellent range with a 6.1 gallon fuel
tank, decent comfort" are quotes from the column.

smart money
The two main reasons I own KLR and not a Beemer. I am cheap, and I like to thrash around in the dirt.

dual sport ride in indiana this upcoming weekend
Howboucha KLR owners!
Howboucha!
Just a note that if you have a Dual-Sport machine, and you have a
strong desire to spend next weekend freezing your butt off during a
great dual sport ride, then you are in luck.
Rick Dorphmeyer and Roy Garrett are putting on a Dual Sport event as
a fundraiser for Discover Indiana Riding Trails. You can get more
information about the ride at
http://howboucha.com/legendary_roy_garrett_and_rick_d.htm
The ride starts at the Guthrie Ranch in Freeman,IN and the Saturday
evening hotel is in Corydon (Indiana's first state capitol). Hope to
see you there.
Keep two wheeling,
Brendan Kearns
