national pride

I am very happy to hear that you guys in NYC are OK! My prayers are with those suffering loss right now. I was in class today so distracted that I wrote this letter to the people responsible. Most of it goes without saying but it made me feel better. Maybe it could do the same for others.......... To whom it may concern, The lives taken yesterday at your hand are meaningless to your cause. The blood we've shed, as Americans, to build this mighty country that we call home can never be negated by one as insignificant as you. We've earned our democracy by voluntarily laying down our lives. You believe that your extremist soldiers are the only ones willing to die for a cause. You are sadly mistaken! Americans have died by the millions for the right to worship and live how and where we choose. The blood you've shed 9/11/01 only serves as glue to strengthen the ties that bind us as one nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all. Know this As you watch us clean up and rebuild, stronger than before, that Justice will find you and those like you and you will pay the price for your transgressions against us We the People of the "United States"
