Well better late than never I know this might not matter to the
great white north but in Texas it's still 100 +. I finally found a
useable summer jacket. It's a Joe Rocket Phoenix. It's made of some
weird woven stuff that doesn't stretch (has holes in it)and has 2
layers of pads. The inside layer of pads are removeable and the
outside ones are sewn on.The pads overlap each other so it has good
coverage. The jacket is "rice-rocket" styling. I've been riding for a
week in it in 100 + weather and it is comfortable. A Star Trek badge
should make it look just right.
Price $139.99 cheaper than skin. http://www.joerocket.com

I use them Bob. i like them and have gone through several sets. they work real well on various dirt surfaces. I may switch to Kendas soon though. I believe the Maxxix pavement traction is superior to that of the Kenda.> GP110. Hope to order new tires by Friday. > > Bob FtWorth
