I recenty took a trip around Eastern Canada and hit some heavy
 rains. After aobut 5 minutes the engine would start missing. This
 happened a number of times. When the rain stopped, the bike
 would run fine. It's a KLR 2000.
 Any suggestions?

John, I'll bet you a doughnut or two that you'll find a fix in Stu's carb "rain t-mod." You'll find the write-up with pix at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DSN_klr650/files/Carburetor/Stalling%20in%20th e%20rain%20mod/ This did the trick for me, I've had NO problems in the rain. I ran a tube off the "T" as Stu had originally suggested, and I think the reason it works is because I used a thicker wall tubing than Stu did, tubing that doesn't kink. (Make sure to copy & paste ALL of the above link. If word wrap "breaks it," just click the part that's still highlighted and copy&paste in the remainder into the browser window and whack enter.) In  view of the lists nuclear holocaust, I offer the following question to lighten things up;

 Why do the French plant trees along their boulevards?

 The Germans prefer to march in the shade.

 Mike Kinville (yes, the last name is of French origin)
