I don't know what the "right" amount is but I went with 4oz in the front and 8oz in the rear. RM

Dremel makes a "cut off wheel" attachment which is similar to above but not fiberglass reinforced. You buy the wheels/disks in tubes of 40 or 50 and are not good for much more than one use anyhow. They break easy. But cut a finer slot than the reinforced wheel. You can wear one down to a smaller diameter in order to dig deeper in the small screw head. As with any abrasive wheel it wears much faster if you cut hard, raising the wheel's temperature. You will not be successful in reducing the cut off disk diameter before use. Once you get it down to the size you want, don't cut so fast that you generate sparks. The wheel will last longer if you go slow. Be sure to wear safety glasses as these cut off disks break often and sting where they hit. Won't harm skin much but will ruin an eye. Once you cut a slot, use a flat screwdriver to remove the screw. -- David Kelly N4HHE, dkelly@... ===================================================================== The human mind ordinarily operates at only ten percent of its capacity -- the rest is overhead for the operating system.
