Anyone out there using the ortlieb dry bags? I would want to use them on a klr and sportbike. Any testimonials? Bob

The only saddle bags I'd own. They work great on KLR as long as you have the side protector rack from Happy Trails or of your own manufacture. The Kawasaki side supports aren't that good from what I hear. Gino

I've got the Black straps over the saddle model and I think they were a good investment. Not huge but waterproof and durable. Alan Henderson A13 Iowa

I just got back from a long weekend (five days) at the superbike races, and I packed everything I need in a pair of Ortleib saddlebags and a medium Ortlieb duffle bag. I have a pair of Happy Trails original racks, and the straps mounted underneath my seat. I've posted pictures of the setup in the files section under mods, I believe. I bought a pair of 20" dufflebags at Walmart that fit perfectly as liners if you don't overstuff them. I'm delighted with them. Add a cable, and you can even lock up your gear when you leave it in the bags. Ralph

i have ortleib drybags (saddlebags), and have used them for three years on my klr and on my old gold wing. i'm of german descent and perhaps a little biased towards their engineering, but they are phenomenal. very durable, waterproof, hold a fair amount of stuff. i was reluctant to spend so much on them when i was shopping, but i'm glad i did. _pete -----Original Message----- From: Bob Ranney [mailto:rranney@...] Sent: Thursday, July 26, 2001 10:31 AM To: DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com Subject: [DSN_klr650] Ortlieb dry bags NKLR Anyone out there using the ortlieb dry bags?
