first report on new bike

Post by Tim Pulliam » Tue Jul 24, 2001 1:30 pm

Picked up my new KLR Saturday. Put 170 easy miles on it sat . Sunday went for a pretty good ride of 421 miles. So far looks like I made the right choice on getting a KLR. More than meets my expectations. Thanks to all for your help and opinions during my research for my next bike. Thanks Tim __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I asked the local Kawi dealer what my 1998 KLR would get with 59,000 miles, and they said around US$800. But it's not for sale. Gratitude for stellar tour service and odometer envy/ego makes me change the oil more often than necessary. Fireball
