cycle world article - 70mpg?

Post by Louklr@aol.com » Sun May 06, 2001 9:59 am

Since Tom Grenon is Canadian I sorta assumed the editors converted his 70 kilometers per gallon to 70 miles per gallon inadvertantly. Or does he really get 70mpg? Lou, 97 KLR650 that get 50 to 55mpg all the time. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

That's the simplest and therefore probably correct answer. The editors must have changed his kmpg and range in kms to mpg and miles. 70 km/g = 43 m/g 400km range = 248 miles I don't feel industrious enough to adjust for Imperial gallons. Dave A14 Richmond

Buy the new tube. In the long run you are going to spend more time screwing around than it costs. Mis dos centavos, Senor. Esteban Verde
