OK, my A1 just made back, Mexico DF to Wash DC in 4 days on a trailer
towed by a pick up truck. Let me tell you: I hate Tenesse. That
state goes on forever. Anyway, two days later I find the back
position light and the headlight are shot, burned out. I replaced
both bulbs with new ones and one day later they're both burned out as
well. I can't figure out the problem, obviously too much juice is
comming in, but how? where could it be comming from? Where should I
look? What should I test? The two fuses are 10 and 20, correct?
Anybody has any clues? Thanks a million.

electrical problems
I got problems I just bought a 93 klr and put the crashed parts back
together. Among other things the headlight was burned out so i
replaced it. When i turned the key on the light worked fine high and
low beam. When i fired the bike up it killed the headlight and gauge
lights. the bike ran well and the blinkers etc work. Finally, the
bike quit running, come to find out the 10 amp fuse was burnt. I
have had other little wierd thing happen with the ele. system at
other times. When i would hit the starter nothing would happen.
After turning the key on and off, fiddling w/main hot battery
connection, playing with clutch/shifter/kickstand suddenly she
fires. Lastly the neutral and high beam light flicker and dim badly
at various times. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone. The
bike only has 4500 mi and she ran very nicely. I ran it down the
highway about 13 miles during a Michigan February and thought she ran
pretty well. Perhaps a longer ride would have revealed further
problems. When I putter around the yard and up and down the street
again she ran well. Any help for any of this?

A little bit every time. I guess every little bit of material that gets caught would help. It's up to you to decide if it's worth the expense.
