I have a '91 KLR 650 that I can't keep the battery charged on. The
battery is new.
Anybody had similar issues or have some idea as to what to do first?

Here in Arizona I would be very lucky to get two years out of one; too many mean, nasty, sharp plant pieces *everywhere* here in the desert. YES! I know you can patch them. A lot of good that does late at night on a flat one. YES! I know they are warranted. I bet I still have one or two in the garage that have been back to the factory so many times they've been paid for more in shipping and they still leak, just not as fast (five hours vs. three, same end result though). You want one? Maybe if you don't camp much; I'm out usually dozens of evenings a years and every few take "sabbaticals" where I spend many weeks sleeping out. Maybe if you stay away from the desert; not an option for me, I live in it. I have woken up on a uninflated Thermarest and then have to blow it up completely while a few hours into my peaceful shuteye enough times to ever trust an inflated sleeping pad again =[. Closed cell for me! Won't, don't, can't leak. Steve A. in prickly AZ> > Thermo-Rest is the way to go. You'll end up getting them anyway if you
