supertrapp ids quiet

Does Supertrapp still make the IDS Quiet series? I just checked there web side and they did not list the IDS quiet series - they listed an IDS2 and the older E.A.R. series. If the IDS Quiet series is still available does anybody know of an online source for it? Lou 97 KLR650 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Rob: I think a well cared for KLR 600 or 650 may last forever. We have two old examples to prove the point. I think there are racks for the early model KLR's, but they are long gone. Its an old bike. If you keep up preventative maintenance, similar to an aircraft, I guarantee the bike will go to your grandchildren. I didn't pay much for mine and wanted to save money by using Chase-Harper's bags. I have a tank bag that works well and a number plate bag. I also got a 1986 BMW top box for $25.00. It was new but dirty from storage. A friend and I cobbled together a mounting system for it using the plastic tool bag points on the rear fender. I also found extra bits that hold the tail lights on and sawed off the tail light mount. I kept one good set for the next owner. It wasn't a hard job but took some thinking. The BMW case works but looks a bit odd. My point is you will have to adapt existing bits to your bike. Enjoy what ya' got. Its paid for, does everything a 2001 will do and has a charm that comes with seniority. Call Clark's in Oregon about the fuel tank. They might have a six gallon tank. I doubt if Acerbis makes tanks for our older models. If you trade up a to a 1987 everything from KLR fits. They made subtle changes over the last 14 years but the bike parts are all interchangeable.
